A luminous water mandala shaped by the frequency of a human voice, revealing the beauty of resonance in iVibe.life’s sound art installation.

ivibe.life is an immersive art and science project by photographer Rita Newman and her sound-enthusiast brother Simon Kopfberger.

Together they explore the poetry of sound and vibration and make the invisible beauty of your voice visible – through photography of water in motion, shaped by your unique vocal frequency.

This is not “just” Sacred Geometry. It is symbolic transduction: Turning sound into form and form into meaning.

INTERACTIVE RESONANCE SPHERE

The ivibe.life team installs a photo-audio station on site (galleries, museums, companies etc.) where visitors or employees can interactively visualize their voice or any frequency they fancy (like Schumann-Resonance, Solfeggio Frequency etc.).

The recorded individual voice is transferred into an oscillation phenomena which amplifies characteristic vibration patterns. These are caused by certain frequencies. The shapes that are formed by bouncing water are unique resonance vibration patterns. They are distinguished by extreme regularity in relation to number, measure and symmetry. These polygons, curves and patterns follow all the same mathematical and geometrical universal laws.

A camera mounted above the vibrating water bowl records these mandala-looking spheres in real time 1:1.

All shapes and geometries in the universe obey a law of vibration & frequency.

Geometry is music we experience with our eyes.
